Job Title:   Service Engineer (Fire and Security)

Summary:  An exciting opportunity for experienced Service Engineers (Fire and Security) to join a leading Electronic Security Systems Company

Location: Nationwide

Salary: Remuneration will be discussed at interview stage and will be dependent upon relevant industry experience; however, benefits will include company vehicle, mobile telephone and overtime.

Company Profile: We are a leading Electronic Security System Company specialising in the design, installation, repair and maintenance of Auto Doors/Gates & Barriers, CCTV, Door Entry/Access Control, Warden Call and Concierge Systems and Fire/Intruder Alarms on behalf of a number of clients throughout the UK.  Due to our continued growth and expansion we are embarking on process to recruit a number of experienced and skilled field engineers to complement our existing team.

Job Profile: The role of Service Engineer (Fire and Security) involves all aspects of service, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems including Access Control, Door Entry, CCTV, Warden Call and Fire Alarm Systems, Automatic Doors, Gates, Barriers, Bollards and associated access systems.  The role is exciting and challenging and would suit a talented field engineer that enjoys life on the road and who is looking to further develop their knowledge and range of skills. 

You would be required to visit client sites in response to break downs, scheduled maintenance and services and carry out installation projects on a variety of systems.  You would liaise with our network of offices and service administrators on a daily basis and will be required to provide all completed paperwork and certification following the completion of each job.  The ability to cover a 24 hour call-out on a rota basis is essential to be considered for this position.

Candidate Profile: You must be a solid all round engineer with strong experience of working with fire and security systems and possess a professional and positive attitude to work.  You should have excellent customer relationship management with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  You should be confident and highly motivated with strong problem solving abilities.  You must be quality focussed with a keen attention to detail and be willing to work independently or as part of a dedicated engineering team have a flexible approach to work.  You will need a full UK driving licence and be able to pass an enhanced DBS and security screening check to be considered for this position.  This is a permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Job Title: Warden Call/Door Entry Engineer: We are currently seeking the services of a Warden Call/Door Entry Engineer to operate from our Regional Office in Daventry. 

 

Job Profile: As a Warden Call/Door Entry Engineer. You must have demonstrable experience in either or both installation and servicing of a wide range of Warden Call/Door Entry Systems. Your role will be to visit client sites and complete either service rectification works or fault finding/breakdowns of systems as required.  Ideally we are looking for a specialist Warden Call/Door Entry Engineer however we may consider a well rounded engineer with good experience in security/CCTV/fire systems.  The ability to cover a 24 hour call-out on a rota basis is essential to be considered for this position. You will work predominantly throughout the South of England, however some UK travel may be required to assist in the implementation of special project

Job Title: Automatic Door/Gate Engineer We are currently seeking the services of an experienced Automatic Door/Gate Engineer to operate from our Regional Office in Daventry

Job Profile: Automatic Door/Gate Engineer. The role involves all aspects of service, installation and maintenance of Automatic Doors, Gates, Barriers, Bollards and associated access systems. You will visit Client sites in response to break downs, scheduled maintenance and services and carry out installation projects on a variety of systems. You would liaise with the office on a daily basis and will be required to provide all completed paperwork and certification following the completion of each job. Ideally we are looking for a specialist Automatic Door/Gate Engineer. Experience of working with roller shutters and industrial doors would be beneficial but not essential. The ability to cover a 24 hour call-out on a rota basis is essential to be considered for this position. You should be qualified to BS7036 and/or BSEN 16005 to undertake this role and have demonstrable knowledge and experience of some/all of the following equipment would be a distinct advantage FAAC, BFT, Came, Geze, Gunnebo, Newgate, Avon Barrier, Heald, Record, Delta Scientific, Cova, Frontier Pitts. You will work predominantly throughout the South of England, however some UK travel may be required to assist in the implementation of other projects
