At Baydale, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do, and it’s only right they are paid a wage that reflects the real cost of living. This commitment is about fairness, respect, and investing in a stronger, more sustainable future for our colleagues and our business.”
A Baydale employee added:
“Moving onto the real Living Wage has made a genuine difference to me. It’s helped ease the pressure of everyday costs and means I can focus more on my work and my future. It feels good to know the company values what we do and is willing to support us in a meaningful way.”
Katherine Chapman, Director of the Living Wage Foundation, said:
“We’re delighted that Baydale has joined the movement of over 16,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on.
“They join thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as Burberry, Barclays, Everton Football Club and many more. These businesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and they, like Baydale, believe that everyone needs to be able to live with dignity and have a decent standard of living.”
